Alwar Branch of CIRC of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is one of the best performing branches of the Central Region, having more than 700 Chartered Accountants as its members and more than 1200 CA Students. Out of the total registered members, more than 150 members are in practice and rest are in service or engaged in other occupation. The branch with the remarkable support of its members has its owned multipurpose building for the benefit of its members and students.

Alwar Branch of CIRC was established by Late CA Nand Lal Agarwal ji with his great efforts in the year 1988. In the starting years of its establishment, the Alwar CA branch was initiated with few members in a small rented room. But as per the significance of our purpose, people joined us and the caravan was made. In the Year 1999, in the supervision of CA Shri M L Agarwal and by the tireless efforts of all the members, a UIT land was allotted for Alwar CA Branch. Foundation of Alwar was done by ICAI Chairman CA S.P Chajed on 12th February, 1999.

With the cooperation of ICAI and by the passionate and enthusiastic members of the institute, the construction of the building was started in the year 2001 by the then Chairman CA G.P Garg and was completed under the direction of Building Committee Chairman CA R.K Garg which was then inaugurated by Recent ICAI Chairman CA N.D Gupta.

In this successful journey of ICAI, Alwar branch has progressed a lot since its inception and the seed of ICAI which was planted in the year 1988 is now converted into a well flourishing tree. The function of Alwar Branch of ICAI include holdingConferences, Seminars, Workshops, Refresher Courses, Study Circle Meetings, Training Programmes, Certificate Courses, Residential Refresher Courses, Awareness Program for public, GMCS Classes, ITT Classes, Orientation Programme, Coaching Classes, Cultural Activity, Sports Activities, Contest, Debate, Quiz & other programs for professional interest with a view to help the members as well as students keep themselves abreast of the development in the fast changing scenario. With the efforts of members of branches, In March 2000- The branch was authorized as a test centre, in August 2007- The Branch was authorized for I.T.T and in November 2009 it was authorized for Orientation Program. Alwar ICAI branch has also received many CIRC and National level awards.
